The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority is committed to creating opportunities for small businesses to compete and succeed. Through its small business programs, the Airport Authority works to remove barriers, promote fair competition and provide resources that help businesses participate in airport contracts and procurements and the broader marketplace.

How We Support Small Businesses

The RDU Small Business Programs Office:

Serves as a liaison between small businesses and Airport Authority staff.

Provides information, guidance and referral services.

Assists prime contractors in identifying qualified small business partners.

Educates businesses on contracting and procurement opportunities.

Hosts networking, outreach and business development events.

Monitors participation and compliance for small business programs on Airport Authority contracts.

RDU Small Business Program

The Airport Authority administers two small business programs: the Small Business Program (SB) and the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which includes the Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program.
